The Tharakans High Story
Every meaningful institution begins with a belief. At Tharakans High, that belief has always been simple yet enduring: children deserve an education that respects who they are, nurtures who they are becoming, and prepares them for life—not just examinations.
2015: The Beginning of Tharakans Montessori
The journey began in DLF Neo Town, Akshayanagar, Bengaluru. From its inception, our focus was on creating a learning environment grounded in authentic Montessori principles—one that honoured childhood, encouraged independence, and supported holistic development. These formative years allowed us to understand what families truly seek from education: trust, emotional safety, and meaningful engagement.
2021: Seven Years of Foundation
By June 2021, we established our flagship campus on Neeladri Road, Electronic City Phase 1. This represented seven years of thoughtful practice and reflection, deepening our insight into children’s developmental needs.
In the same year, we launched our Teacher Training Programmes. We believe that quality education depends on well-prepared teachers—mentors who approach learning with responsibility and care.
2023 – 2025: Growing With Purpose
As trust in the Tharakans approach grew, we expanded with intention:

- Launch of the third campus in Hongasandra, Bengaluru
2025:
- Expansion beyond Karnataka with a campus in Kottayam, Kerala.
- Opening of the Hullahalli campus.
Each campus reflects a shared commitment to consistency, authenticity, and child-centred learning.
